What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a versatile teacher looking to help cover PPA in a lovely one form entry primary school?
Are you flexible and able to work across EYFS KS1 and KS2?
The Alton School is now looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Experienced Class Teacher to cover PPA for 2 days per week The position provides a great opportunity to teach in different year groups across the primary age range. This is a part time role with flexibility for the candidate to choose which two days they can work. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds, fostering a love of learning, and ensuring a positive educational experience for the students. The ideal candidate will need to hold strong behaviour management skills.

Job requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status with experience working with Nursery to Year 6 classes
- Live within commutable distance to Roehampton.
- Effective use of differentiation tools to meet the needs of all students.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour.
- The capacity to maintain successful educational outcomes using data and assessments.
- Establish positive relationships with students, and the wider school community, promoting open communication and involvement in student education.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to the school’s ethos and vision. Is a tenacious and down-to-earth team player.

- Will do ‘whatever it takes’
