What skills and experience we're looking for

Our English department is looking for an excellent part time teacher to join our team, whose focus will be primarily teaching year 9 and KS4 English Language and Literature GCSEs. This post represents an excellent professional development opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of English to develop their classroom practice by working as part of a strong and dedicated team of English teachers, as well as to develop their subject skills and knowledge. We are looking for someone who loves their subject and can communicate and share that passion with their students, colleagues, and the wider community. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to continuously develop and improve their teaching practice, and be open in sharing their knowledge across the team, as well taking on board new ideas and suggestions.

What the school offers its staff

We believe wholeheartedly in helping teachers to improve their classroom practice and our CPD programme is incredibly strong. Every teacher gets to work with one of our highly experienced teacher coaches to help them to develop their practice and become the best teacher they can be. We are also committed to exploring evidence based practice and current research in education.
