1:1 SEN Classroom Support Professional

Contract: Temporary for one year initially as linked to a child, term time only, plus training days

Salary: Dependent on experience TA Grade 1 - 3

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a caring classroom support professional, with experience of working with young children with SEN. The ideal candidate will be able to help develop social and communication skills, offer emotional support and help the child access the curriculum. The right person will be able to work alongside a small, established team, have a good sense of humour, good communication skills, be organised and punctual, have excellent behaviour management and motivation techniques and be committed to high quality care and education. The role will be linked to a child with additional needs but there may be the potential to carry out general class interventions, once the child’s needs have been assessed.
