1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 (SEN) Learning Support Assistant to
join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will:
• Have a passion for supporting the education and well-being of our wonderful children.
• Have a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• Be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
• Have the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative.
• Be motivated, passionate and reflective about their work.
• Ideally have experience of supporting pupils with social communication and language
difficulties (desirable)
• Ideally understand alternative communication systems such as PECS and Somerset Total
Communication (desirable)
