1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
Beck Row Primary Academy are looking for a positive, engaging and resilient person to join our team of Teaching Assistants, to support a child on a one to one basis. The ideal candidate will have:
• the ability to establish supportive relationships with pupils with SEN
• promote the acceptance and inclusion of all pupils
• an understanding of the skills required to support young children with special educational needs
• the desire to make a difference

Beck Row Primary Academy is in the growing village of Beck Row, just a couple of miles from the market town of Mildenhall. Over recent years, we have expanded through Suffolk’s School Reorganisation process from a small first school to a growing primary school and we currently have about 200 pupils on roll. We are proud to be part of Academy Transformation Trust a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) with academies locally and in other areas of the UK.
Our vision is to develop a learning environment which will encourage each child to become a life-long learner and achieve the very best that they can. We hope that pupils leave in year 6, ready for the challenges that secondary education brings.
