What skills and experience we're looking for
Knavesmire Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced person to work with a child with Autism Spectrum Condition on a 1:1 basis. Specific duties for this role include:
- working on a 1:1 basis with a child with complex needs namely Autism Spectrum Condition.
- supporting the child in every aspect of their learning whilst they are in school.
- being aware of changes in the child’s persona and acting accordingly.
- working with class teachers to ensure work is planned accordingly and work as part of a team.
The person we are looking for will have experience of working in a similar role, and an awareness of children’s development and learning. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people and their families and carers.
Interviews will be held during the week commencing 20 February 2023.
