Contract: Post linked to funding – 32.5 hours per week, term time + 10 days
We are looking for an outstanding 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team. If you are highly professional, well organised, committed and experienced, we would love you to join our team here at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Wingate. We pride ourselves on the support that we give to all of children, and we are seeking a SEN teaching assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.

St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Wingate is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust, the Trust and their schools safeguards and protects its students and staff by being committed to respond in accordance with Durham County Council Child Protection Procedures. The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has a growth plan for Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools in the Trust by July 2022.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of pre-employment checks.
