What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our brilliant team of staff and children at Hotwells Primary School. We are a school situated in a historic corner of Bristol and pride ourselves on our broad and balanced curriculum, our love of the arts and warm and nurturing community. We are also delighted to be part of Cathedral Schools Trust and embrace the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Trust schools.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to provide learning support for an individual Y4 child with ASD in the classroom under the general direction of the Class Teacher and/or SENDCo and to support the child during lunchtime and break times.
The Head Teacher wishes to appoint individuals:
Who are committed to supporting high quality learning and experiences for all children;
With an excellent understanding of Primary provision and who is able to work closely with the Class Teacher and SENDCo to support the learning of an individual child, adapting learning tasks as required;
Ideally, with experience of working with children with ASD.
Who are thoughtful and creative, with the ability to motivate children to give their very best;
Who are patient, positive and resilient.
