1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

About the role

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45am – 3:15pm with 30-minute lunchbreak, 39 weeks per year (Term Time + 5 inset days)

Fixed Term contract for duration child remains in school

Salary £17,316-£18,447 gross per annum

(Based on North Lincolnshire Salary Scale G4.5 - G4.9)

We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with a child on a 1 to 1 basis in KS2 with EHCP with both academic and social needs.

The successful applicant will have:

A good working knowledge of EHCP’s and contributing to them

Have a good understanding of supporting pupils with profound needs, experience of trauma-informed practice and/or attachment is desirable.

Able to use your own initiative to support pupils according to their individual needs.

Will need to support with lunchtimes, routines, working 1:1 and in small groups

RWI is desirable.

Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
