1:1 Teaching Assistant

Contract Type – Fixed-term until 22/07/2025 (but set to extend as child moves through school).
Pay Grade – Grade D3 (£24,027 FTE. This will be prorated to £14,301.10)
Hours – 26.25 hours per week, 5 days
9am - 3:15pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support us in our mission to provide the very best in education for the children of Trinity. The role will involve supporting a KS1 child on a 1:1 basis, working collaboratively, sensitively and empathetically to meet their additional needs, promoting independence and inclusion, to support their achievement and inspire them to reach their potential and flourish. Following a successful Ofsted Inspection in June 2023, our school has received a very well-deserved rating of Good. Ofsted Inspectors commented that relationships between pupils and staff are ‘warm and considerate’ with pupils stating, ‘there’s such a nice, safe atmosphere here.’ Central to our success is our amazing staffing team, who work hard to create a calm, settled learning environment for our pupils, who are polite and proud of their work, with positive attitudes towards learning. We are therefore looking for our newest Teaching Assistant to work to uphold these expectations and contribute to this environment.

PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
