Incredibly rare opportunity to work in a fantastically friendly, supportive, small, rural lower school

Would you like to join the staff of a friendly, Values based village school? We are searching for enthusiastic, committed teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning and believe in the education of the whole child.

We are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in order to continue to provide exceptional support within our school, in order to maintain our current excellent academic standards.

The role is offered on a Fixed-Term contract until the end of August 2025, in the first instance. Working hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

  • has a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • has experience of supporting children on a 1-1 basis
  • has experience of supporting children with SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD or PDA
  • has excellent communication skills, enabling you to work well in a team
  • will support the school in achieving its long term vision through Values Education
