What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Is passionate about working with children and is able to inspire children to be the best that they can be
  • Has experience working with primary aged children
  • Has experience of working with SEND children and setting and leading activities.
  • Is organised, proactive and confident in delivering prepared lessons
  • Is able to ‘Bring learning to life’
  • Has excellent numeracy/literacy skills – GCSE grade C or above (or NV2 equivalent)
  • Has an NVQ3 or equivalent in teaching assistance or equivalent experience
  • Is able to work constructively as part of a team
  • Has good communication skills and can demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours
  • Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in school.
  • Is willing to deal with a child’s personal care, if required.

Full Time/Part Time: Part Time

Working Hours: 28.7 hours per week as a 1 to 1 teaching assistant, 2.5 hours as a MSA

Term Time: Term Time + 1 week (39 weeks)
