What skills and experience we're looking for
1:1 Teaching Assistant - High needs
Ruishton Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teaching assistant on a fixed-term basis, in the first instance, until 31st August 2025. This is a mixed role working with multiple children.
We seek to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience. The role involves working on a 1:1 basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND need as required;
- Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDCo;
- Working closely the class teacher, Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants supporting the pupil.

Experience Desirable:
- Experience in education
- Experience Supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs
- Speech and Language
- ASD Trained
- ADHD
