1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of individual students requiring additional support. This is a term time only role on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to a specific student, ensuring their academic, social and emotional needs are met.
- Assist the student with classroom activities, ensuring they understand and complete their work effectively.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging the student’s participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff and parents to monitor and report on the student’s progress.
- Demonstrate a passion for helping children to reach their full potential.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs and learning styles of the student.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with student, staff and parents.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility in approach and thinking.
