What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a number of posts available to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a number of children. These posts range in hours from part to full-time. All are on a term time only basis and will be fixed term until the child you are working with leaves the school.
These posts may be based at either our Victoria Road (DE14 2LU) or Orchard (DE13 0RA) sites but the successful candidate may be expected to work across both of our school sites. Please find enclosed a job description, person specification and application form.
Applicants should be qualified with an appropriate level 2 Teaching Assistant/Child Care qualification and it is desirable that they have experience of working with children with special educational needs or within Key Stage 1 or 2. Your application form should outline the experience you have working with children and any strengths and skills you feel you could offer the school.
