We are currently seeking to recruit two enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistants to join our team at The Oaklands Primary School. Applicants should have at least NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
The successful applicants will be working with either year 1 and 2 pupils or year 4 and 5 pupils, who have ADHD and/or autism. The role will also include working with small groups of pupils and carrying out all related duties. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with children with SEND needs, ideally from a primary setting. You will also have excellent communication skills with children, parents and professionals and a sound knowledge and understanding of effective teaching and learning.
