Parkfield School, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join the Academy team to start in September 2022.

Post: Learning Support Assistant (EYFS-KS2)

Location: Parkfield School, Hurn, Christchurch, BH23 6DF

FTE Salary Range: Grade 3 SCP 4-6, £19,264 to £20,043 per annum, pro rata

Actual Salary: £14,993.36 - £15,599.67 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2023, part time; term-time (39 weeks).

Contract Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:15 am – 3:15 pm

About the role

We are seeking to appoint dedicated and inspirational people to assist in the support and inclusion of young people with a wide range of special educational needs within the school. The age range of pupils in the school is from 4 to 16 years. This role will predominantly be supporting children within our primary age range, 4-11 years.

To support the development of pupils’ emotional literacy and social skills through specific and targeted intervention.

To support pupils’ academic and social communication needs and to support positive social and emotional wellbeing, enabling them to engage in learning in and out of the school environment.
