This role involves understanding the needs of the students and adopting/developing an appropriate curriculum/interventions in your area. You will need to be able to establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for students, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly. You should have an awareness of the recent Ofsted report into science delivery and its implementation in the classroom.
