UTC Plymouth, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Site Assistant to join the School as soon as possible.

Post: Site Assistant

Location: UTC Plymouth, Park Avenue, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4RL

FTE Salary Range:NJC Grade D, Point 8 -14, £22,777 - £25,409 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, full time, all year round

Contract Hours: 52 per week, Monday to Friday 7:30-3:30

For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours however it is crucial the successful candidate starts at 7:30. Please wait until the job offer stage before asking us about flexibility, and we will explore what’s possible for the role.

About the role

The role is varied and flexible. Working within our site team the role will involve a variety of tasks ranging from site maintenance, painting, daily/weekly audits, tasks, health & safety, supporting the wider school community and ensuring a safe and functional environment for everyone. This particular role will also require the successful candidate to be a trusted key holder, ensuring the prompt and efficient opening of the site on a daily basis.

UTC Plymouth is an educational college for 11-19 year olds specialising in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. Our curriculum is delivered through a combination of industry standard workshop experiences, a focus on high achievement in core academic subjects and industry-led challenges with the aim of offering clear progression routes into employment, apprenticeships, higher education or further learning in work.

About the Trust
