Stoke Damerel Primary School, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the School in January 2024. 

Post: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Stoke Damerel Primary School, Collingwood Road, Stoke, Plymouth, PL1 5PA                                            

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C, Point 5 - 7, £21,575 rising to a maximum of £22,369 per annum, pro-rata

Actual Annual Salary Range: £16,008 - £16,597 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31 August 2024, part time, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract Hours: 30.85 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and flexible SEN TA to join our SEN Team.  You will work under the instruction/guidance of the SENCO to undertake one-one work/care/support to enable access to learning for pupils with special educational and social needs.

  • To use positive and personalised anxiety management strategies
