We are seeking to appoint for the new role of Head of Procurement and Contracts to join our Trust from September.
Post: Head of Procurement and Contracts
Location:Remote with occasional travel to our schools throughout the South West
Salary Range: Grade J pt 41-46, £49,855 - £55,303 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours/Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
About the role
The Head of Procurement and Contracts is a brand new role that will lead on the end-to-end procurement process, managing projects for complex activities, delivering the best possible commercial outcomes for the Trust. In addition, the postholder will provide best-in-class procurement advice and support to the business through effective stakeholder engagement and management, supporting in the delivery of the procurement cost reduction opportunities that quickly and effectively achieve cost saving targets across the portfolio.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills and an extensive background in procurement and contracts management, with the ability to lead on large scale projects to deliver successful outcomes.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in procurement and contract management. Other skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for include:
- Fully qualified (CIPS)
- At least three years post professional qualification experience
- Strong focus on controls and processes and a high attention to detail

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate seventeen academies in Plymouth, Exeter, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
