UTC Plymouth, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to join the School.
Post: Office Manager
Location: UTC Plymouth, Park Avenue, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4RL
FTE Salary Range: Grade E 15-17
Contract Type: Permanent - Full time - Term Time + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year) (Part time and Flexi will be considered)
Contract Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Thursday 0815-1600, Friday 0815-1500, (flexible working or part time would be considered, please contact school)
About the role
A highly motivated and experienced Office Manager is sought for UTC Plymouth. The role offers variety, challenge and responsibility, working with the Executive Business Manager and the Senior Leadership Team of the School. The position would suit someone who is able to multi task and work accurately and efficiently under pressure in a fast changing environment.
About the successful candidate
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and administrative skills and be able to communicate effectively. You will be qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or have the equivalent experience. Duties include: managing a busy school office including a team of administrators, being the key point of contact for all staff, working with information, financial and HR systems and processes, implementing and maintaining new office systems, taking minutes, handling correspondence and dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Training will be available for key duties.

UTC Plymouth is an educational college for 11-19 year olds specialising in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.
