Millbay Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Facilities Support Worker to join our team on a casual contract as soon as possible.
Post: Facilities Support Worker
Location: Millbay Academy, 22 Millbay Road, Plymouth PL1 3EG
Salary: Grade B Pt 3 - 4 £22,737 - £23,114 per annum pro rata
Hourly Rate: £11.79 rising to £11.98 per hour
Contract Type: Casual, part time
About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Support Worker on an ad-hoc basis to support the school with cover in the facilities and catering departments and to assist with the opening and closing of the school for external lettings. This will be during periods of staff absence and busy periods where extra staff is needed.
About the successful candidate
The successful candidate will need to be reliable, flexible and happy to support in different departments both in and out of normal school hours. The role would suit anyone with experience in basic maintenance, cleaning, equipment set-up or working in a kitchen. Training will be given to the successful candidate to allow them to work safely and effectively in either of the departments.
