Stuart Road Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Mealtime Assistant to join the School as soon as possible.

Location: Stuart Road Primary Academy, Plymouth, PL1 5LL

FTE Salary: NJC Grade A, Point 2, £23,656 per annum, pro-rata

Hourly Rate: £12.26 per hour

Contract Type: Fixed term until 18th July 2025, part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract Hours: 6.25 hours per week

About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Mealtime Assistant to work alongside our lunch time team.

About the successful candidate

We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

Understanding the needs of children
Understanding of Health and Safety issues
Understanding of the issues surrounding the safety of children
Basic knowledge of first-aid

About the School

We are a single form entry school based in a wonderful Victorian building situated in the Stoke area of the city. We link with our partner schools to develop strong and exciting learning opportunities based around John Hattie’s Visible Learning. We have a strong focus on a community approach to everything we do. At Stuart Road Primary Academy, we strive for academic excellence whilst ensuring that every child feels safe and secure and is supported to do the best they can.

We follow the Cornerstones Curriculum model which enables us to offer stimulating, knowledge rich, experiential learning opportunities that engage the children in their learning.

About the Trust

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 17 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
