2nd i/c Science Department job summary
A 1.0 fte, permanent, 2nd i/c Science Department is required for January 2021. You will share our commitment to excellence and our passion for achieving the very best outcomes for our students. The post attracts a TLR 2c (£6,643) and your primary role, in the first instance, is the leadership of our A level Science courses (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Alongside this substantive role you will also support the Head of Department.

Saltash Community School is a mixed 11 to 18 comprehensive school established in its present form in 1968. The school converted to Academy Status in April 2011, and became part of a Multi Academy Trust (SMART) with one of its partner primaries, Landulph, in January 2014. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it occupies a 13 acre site overlooking Plymouth Sound and the Tamar, Tavy and Lynher rivers.
