What skills and experience we're looking for

An English specialist to join our team and support the Head of Department as their 2nd in charge. English achieves superb results, with value added of over a grade per student, on average.

The successful candidate will have a fundamental passion for all things ‘English’; they will take responsibility for the leadership and management of aspects of the teaching of the subject within the overall educational aims of the school, and maintain the highest possible quality in teaching and learning in the faculty. Be proactive in the management of people within the department, and ensure resources are identified & prioritised. they will also be an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner.
