This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, energetic and innovative individual to take on the role of 2nd in Faculty in Science. The Science department is a large department with friendly and supportive colleagues. We are determined to improve student outcomes and to embed a love of independent scientific enquiry within all our young people. The successful applicant will be a highly committed, motivated and passionate teacher who can lead by example with experience in all Science subjects, preferably with a key focus on Chemistry or Physics and across all Key Stages. This is a strategic post that offers opportunities to work with the Head of Faculty to develop science provisions, including shaping the curriculum so that students are motivated to fulfil and exceed their potential. We are also looking for a candidate who will maintain a relentless focus on high quality of teaching and learning to achieve outstanding outcomes.
