We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated 2nd in Maths who possesses a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and a passion for teaching. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing pupil engagement and achievement through innovative instructional strategies. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Maths in developing a cohesive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our pupils, ensuring that all learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), are given the opportunity to excel. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and resilience in mathematical problem-solving.

As a collaborative leader, you will work closely with colleagues to implement effective assessment practises and provide targeted support to both pupils and staff. Your commitment to continuous professional development will be crucial in mentoring less experienced teachers and sharing best practises across the department. We seek someone who is not only knowledgeable in mathematics but also skilled in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ultimately driving our vision of academic excellence and a love for learning in mathematics.

The successful candidate will present the best possible example of professional standards to colleagues.
