• Take an active role within the department and be responsible for areas of RE as agreed with the Head of Department
• Lead the development of appropriate new courses and manage the introduction and delivery of these
• Be able to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences to all of our students with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
• Deputise for the Head of Department when necessary
• Be a teacher who is influential and committed to getting the best outcomes for the students in our school
• Be keenly interested in how children learn
• Be committed to equal opportunities for all and to the safeguarding and welfare of young people
