3 Full Time Temporary Teachers job summary
Bellefield School opened in January 2008. The school has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a happy and hard working team. We put children first and are committed to ensuring that each child achieves their potential. In January 2017, Ofsted found that we are: “…a very happy school where…staff enjoy working and…pupils love attending”.
We are keen to appoint 3 good teachers - one in Reception (FS2), one in Y3/4 and one in Y5/6. You will work creatively to engage our children. Two of the roles are maternity cover and will cease upon the return of the class teachers. The Y6 role is available for the full year initially. Applications for the Y6 role are open to all including NQTs but could also suit a more experienced teacher looking to develop their role. We are committed to supporting you in your role in our school and in your own professional development. Applications from NQTs are welcome. We have a well established and effective mentoring programme to support you. We encourage visits to our school prior to application as we think this is important. Please ring us to make an appointment. If you would like to discuss any of these roles, please ring and ask to speak to Steve Wigley, Head Teacher or Kay Bennett, Deputy Head Teacher.
Bellefield Primary & Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
