Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1

Location:  Compass Primary Academy

Salary: £22,400 (FTE) £15,081 (pro rata salary) (Grade 1 Point 1 )

29 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for  1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our school ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The positions will be working 1:1 with  pupils in either KS1 or KS2 with Special Needs. The role will be based on supporting within the classroom setting and on a 1:1 basis with identified targets or EHCP plan. The role will be working alongside the class teacher to provide the best possible support and care for these pupils.  

We are looking for a confident, dedicated individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful candidate will have some experience of working with pupils with additional needs and an understanding of the importance of building a nurturing relationship with the pupil.
