Academic Ambassador job summary
Are you a committed graduate who can offer additional learning and pastoral support? This would be an ideal role for a graduate looking to forge a career in education – getting a hands on taste for life in a fast-paced school environment!
We are seeking to recruit an Academic Ambassador to add to our already fantastic team of dedicated, hardworking colleagues, who contribute to a wonderful culture of work. Your primary focus would be to support the Right path facility within the Academy.
We are dedicated, hardworking, and looking to add value to an exceptional team as externally identified in our outstanding judgement for personal development, behaviour and welfare from Ofsted (2019).
Using data effectively, you will establish high expectations and assist in the process of setting individual targets and create plans of action for students including those who are at risk of underachieving.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
If you are determined to make a difference to the life chances of young people by raising standards, expectations and achievement we would like to hear from you.
Why you should work with us?
Your dedication & commitment is not only recognised, but highly rewarded;
• Opportunities for progression across a growing Academies Trust;
• Complimentary tea and coffee;
• Fun & interesting weekly staff incentives (weekly prizes, surprises and rewards following the previous week);
• Free parking;
• Complimentary breakfast and lunch (Family Breakfast and Family Lunch is shared with students, who serve one another);
• The opportunity to work with a kind, collaborative and fun team of colleagues.
Academy ethos
Our Academy ethos stems from the Latin ‘Quarere’, meaning ‘to seek’. We stand for three high ideals – to seek that which is good, that which is right, and that which is true. If you share our belief that these ideals are a tremendous foundation on which to build young people’s educational experience, with the hope that our students will feel delighted coming to the Academy, then you share our vision.
