We are looking for Academic Tutors in Maths!
Salford City Academy have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher or applicants who are considering training to teach in Maths. We are recruiting an academic mentor in Maths to join our talented and dedicated Maths team. The post in fixed term until July 2023 however there is scope for a suitable candidate to join our Maths department as a full-time teacher of Maths from September 2023. The successful candidate will deliver tuition to identified students in KS4, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis and work with students in KS3 who are behind in reading. You will work with class teachers to identify areas for development and support, plan the student’s personalised learning programme, and agree outcomes.
You may be a qualified teacher of Maths looking for their next post, or you may be considering a career in teaching and are wanting to gain some work experience. Whatever your circumstances, we want to hear from you if you are motivated by improving the life chances of young people. We are considering candidates who can offer full time and or part time hours.
