Job summary

Tadcaster Grammar School is offering an exciting new opportunity to work as an Academic Mentor at our high achieving and successful school. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic individual, who will focus largely on researching, planning and delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring/support sessions with identified students on a range of subjects but particularly subjects for which the candidate has subject specialisms. The successful candidate will also be skilled in planning and delivering extra-curricular activities which promote learning, good behaviour, better social skills and well-being after school and possible additional paid work during the School holidays.
This is a temporary position, 32 hours per week, required from November 2021 until July 2022.
