Hours of work: Term-time only, Monday to Friday (8am – 3:30pm)
Salary: £19,000 per year (pro-rata)

We currently have vacancies for Academic Mentors at Trumpington Park Primary School. Academic Mentors are salaried members of staff who work alongside class teachers to provide a range of additional academic support interventions for pupils. These roles in school have been introduced to provide targeted support for children who have been most affected by the disruption to their education caused by the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are looking for enthusiastic, conscientious, and dedicated professionals who will be able to provide high quality support for our pupils at this time. To qualify as a mentor, applicants must possess a university degree (in any subject) and GCSE Level 4 (grade C and above) in English and Mathematics. Applicants must be prepared to undertake a training programme before they embark on the role - more details can be found on the National Tutoring Programme website www.nationaltutoring.org.uk.
