We are seeking an Academic Tutor/ Cover Supervisor to support the Maths or Science department in the provision of a high quality, efficient service for the school. The Academic Tutor/ Cover Supervisor will deliver prepared lessons set by the teacher and ensure that students remain on task and complete the work to a high standard.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to motivate and inspire pupils and have good attention to detail. Experience of working with children and managing behaviour would be an advantage. The position of Academic Tutor / Cover Supervisor would be ideal for aspiring teachers in secondary schools and here at Frederick Bremer School we offer a variety of teacher training routes for the right candidate. We take pride in providing quality cover for our students in the absence of their regular class teacher and the ideal person to join the team would be someone who is proactive, organised, a team player, flexible, able to work under pressure and willingness to learn and develop.
