Location: Chesham Hills Academy

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join our team and manage this critical function across the Academy. Reporting to the Assistant Principal, the post holder will be responsible for providing effective management of all data and reporting systems through the curation and analysis of data across the Academy as well as the implementation of our MIS and supporting staff in our school.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a high level of analytical skills
  • excellent IT skills
  • experience of producing accurate data in a user-friendly format
  • knowledge of statutory data reporting requirements for education
  • evidence of continuous professional development
  • attention to detail

Chiltern Hills Academy is a Church of England, co-educational secondary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the sixth form. Chiltern Hills Academy converted to academy status in 2011 and is jointly sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire County Council.

We are situated in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire in the Chiltern Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated close to the M40 and the M25, Chesham is on the end of Metropolitan line of the London Underground and is 28 miles north-west of London. There is ample parking on-site. Renting here is cheaper than in central London and if you enjoy travelling, it takes about 40 minutes by car to Heathrow.

The Elgiva Theatre, Lowndes Park and an open-air heated swimming pool are just some of the many public amenities available in the town. Chesham is renowned for its community spirit and there are many recreational and community groups catering for the diverse and active population.
