Access Arrangements Coordinator/School Based Assessor job summary
We are keen to appoint an outstanding leader to this key position within our thriving school. We have a fundamental commitment to inclusive education that meets the needs of all students. The successful candidate will hold the relevant qualifications that enable them to test students, apply for Access Arrangements (AA) and complete all of the necessary paperwork required to meet JCQ requirements for AA. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience of assessing students with suspected SEND needs to determine level of need and appropriate support (School Based Assessments). This post will include the organisation and some teaching of intervention sessions taking into consideration access arrangement responsibilities. There is potential for this person to hold the post of Co-SENCO (Academic).
The successful candidate must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
