32.5 hours per week
8:30 - 3:30 (Mon-Fri, including 30min lunch break)
Fixed-term until 31/08/2025 initially, with a view to being made permanent on successful completion of probation
Term-time only (190days per year)

We are looking for two dynamic, committed and innovative individuals to join our team to support children with special educational needs. The successful candidates will work within our designated SEND Unit, which will cater for up to thirty pupils with additional and complex needs.
We already have two SEND Classrooms, which cater for up to twenty pupils. With the support of the Local Authority, we are increasing the intake in our SEND Unit to thirty pupils from January 2026. You will be deployed to work in one of the SEND Classrooms, alongside the very experienced and knowledgeable existing staff.

The successful candidate will:
- Have empathy and perseverance.
- Be willing to undertake any additional training to enhance own practice.
- Be fully committed to supporting our children.
- Have flexibility and be willing to adapt to meet the needs of the pupils they are working with.
- Have knowledge and experience of working with children with additional needs - especially communication and interaction difficulties.
