Fixed-Term Position until 31/08/2026 initially

32.5hours per week, consisting of

18 hours ASA (Mon-Wed) @ Grade 4 SCP 5-7 £25,583 - £26,403, pro rata, £8397 - £8593, actual)

14.5 hours SASA (Thurs/Fri) @ Grade 6 SCP 14-19 (£29,540 - 32,061, pro rata, £12 616 - £13 658, actual)

8:30am - 3:30pm daily, with a 30minute unpaid lunch break.

Term-Time only

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Achievement Support Assistant / Senior Achievement Support Assistant.

You will work as an ASA on Monday-Wednesday, taking the lead on interventions across the school.
On Thursday and Friday, you will work as a SASA in our SEND Unit, working alongside existing staff to lead groups and cover in the absence of the teacher.

Therefore, as a minimum you will be required to hold an appropriate Level 3 qualification, preferably in supporting teaching and learning.

Previous experience of delivering interventions to support children to close gaps in learning is desirable, as is experience of working with pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will bring with them the flair, commitment and passion, in order to provide the best learning opportunities for our most complex children, which will enable them to succeed in a mainstream setting.

The successful candidate will:

-Have an understanding of how children learn and how to get the best from them.

-Have substantial experience of working with children with complex and additional needs.

-Have experience of implementing a range of intervention programmes and bespoke curriculums.

-Have a passion to work with vulnerable children and be flexible to meet their needs.
