We are looking to recruit a temporary Head of Religious Education to lead learning and teaching in the department. Candidates should have excellent teaching, management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to ensure that our Catholic ethos remains at the core of student learning.
You will be an organised and confident professional who thrives on making things happen and will have an ability to keep on top of the practicalities. You will be a strong communicator with the vision and ability to manage a team in order to deliver the departments objectives.
The successful candidate will:
Have excellent teaching, management and interpersonal skills.
Be enthusiastic and able to inspire and manage a talented team of teachers.
Be able to teach across the 11-18 age range.
Be forward thinking, inspirational, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.
Have good interpersonal and presentational skills.
Have the resilience to cope with the operational and strategic demands of the role.
