SEND Admin Assistant job summary

Post: SEND and Office Admin Assistant

Organisation: Kingstone Academy Trust, Kingstone, Herefordshire

Salary Scale: 05KA SCP 6-11 (25,183 to 27,269 Pro rata)

Contract Details: 3 days per week (22.5 hours) for 38 weeks of the year plus 3 INSET days and 6 additional days.

Kingstone High School is seeking an Administrative Assistant for 3 days a week. The candidate who will be responsible for undertaking all the administrative in relation to students with SEND (2 days per week), working alongside the SENDCo, and general Office Admin duties for 1 day per week.

We are seeking a candidate with a high level of personal organisation and accuracy who has the ability to work independently, as well as to work as an effective team member. You will require a flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Excellent IT skills are required, and a sense of humour is essential and applications from colleagues with experience of working in an administrative role will be most welcome.

The successful candidate will be liaising with parents, agencies and other stakeholders as necessary, you will need to be confident in communicating to a diverse range of people at all levels. A willingness to become a first aider would be welcomed. In return, we offer the opportunity to work with fantastic students, as well as a committed and supportive staff team in a small family friendly high school.
