We are looking for a dedicated Admin Assistant/Receptionist to provide an efficient reception service and clerical (including finance) support to the school.
- The successful candidate will work 15 hours per week across two days (Thursday and Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with a 60-minute unpaid break each day)
- This is a 38-week-per-year role (term time only).
A Day in the Life:
Key Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries
- Ensuring school security arrangements are always complied with, including the issue of visitor’s badges and signing in procedures and updating the school’s electronic signing-in system to ensure smooth running
- Taking responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the manual and computerised pupil data records, including attendance details
- Sending and receiving messages via the school’s Management Information System (MIS) to maintain effective communication with parents/carers
- Carrying out financial administration in accordance with appropriate financial regulations and policies

You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:
- Experience of administrative work in a busy office environment
- Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Knowledge of general school policies and procedures
- Good organisational skills
- An understanding of and the ability to implement the school’s behaviour management policy
- An understanding of and the ability to implement child protection procedures
