What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appointment an Admin Officer to support our school Sixth Form Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of a senior Administrative Officer, and work closely with the Head of Sixth Form. Duties and responsibilities will be varied, and will include significant amounts of time using a computer. A key responsibility will be handling Sixth Form student attendance, and therefore the role will involve significant contact with students.
We require:
- Someone with a flexible approach to managing workload, who can prioritise task depending on what is required, and organise their workload.
- Someone approachable, who is able to adapt their communication style in order to ensure a professional approach to working with colleagues, students, and external professionals.
- Experience working in a school office environment would be beneficial.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
