Administration Assistant job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our small team within our school admin office.

Knutsford Primary Academy is a successful school with a strong ethos and hugely committed staff team. We are looking for someone with experience of working within a school setting as desirable, but not essential. You should be enthusiastic, highly organised with the ability to work as part of a team and to work on your own initiative. You must have excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure and demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in the use of IT such as Word, Excel and emails. Training will be given on a range of other school systems including Arbor.

The successful candidate will have a varied role including daily attendance duties, nursery admissions, contributing to pupil welfare such as administering medicines and first aid provision, clubs’ administration, marketing and other clerical and administrative duties to support the school.

The position is a permanent one, starting as soon as possible. The hours are 8.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday. This is a total of 20 hours per week, term time only.
