Administration Assistant

Salary scale:  H2 (£20,812) FTE (per annum)

25 Hours (4 days) Term Time Only (pro-rata)

Purpose of the role

·         Toprovide general administration support to the School under the direction or instruction of the School Business Manager and Principal.

Accountability

·         The post holder reports directly to the School Business Manager

Key responsibilities

·         Front of House/Reception Duties

·         Manage the admin email address

·         Administer the schools trip process

·         Processing of school orders

·         Provideadministrativesupporte.g.photocopying,filing,emailing,completionofroutineforms

·         Updatemanualandcomputerisedrecords/managementinformationsystems

·         Contribute to and support the overall aims and ethos of the school

Individualsinthisrolemayalsoundertakesomeorallofthefollowing:

·         Occasionallyhandlecashe.g.forschoolvisits,dinnermoney   

·         Open,sortanddistributeincomingmailandpostoutgoingmail

·         Pointofcontactforsickpupils,liaisewithparents/carers/staff

·         Assistwitharrangementsforvisits,forexamplebyschoolnurse,photographer

-          Undertake First Aid training and support with medical needs

·         Arrangeorderlyandsecurestorageofsupplies.

·         Provide Admin support to SENCO organising ADPR meeting schedule

·         Undertake any training for professional development
