The Role
Are you an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and a warm, inclusive approach? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being the first point of contact? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As our School Administrator, you'll be the welcoming face of our school, interacting with parents and visitors in person, on the phone, and via email. You'll play a crucial role in organising a variety of school events, managing office tasks, and providing essential support to both staff and pupils. This varied and rewarding role offers the chance to be involved in many aspects of school life, working both independently and as part of our dedicated office team. A great sense of humour and a flexible attitude are a must for this highly multi-tasking position!
About You
We are looking for someone with a solid working knowledge of G-Suite. Given our diverse community, essential qualities include warm and inclusive communication skills alongside a professional demeanour.
You will be responsible for coordinating numerous school events throughout the year. This includes all communication with parents and staff. You'll also manage the booking of supply staff, so exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment are crucial.
Desirable skills and experience include:
Experience with school-based admin packages such as BromCom and School Grid
Working knowledge of the Government's Nursery funding scheme.
Knowledge of basic financial processes, including invoicing and purchase orders.

Our employees benefit from a wide variety of support including extensive continuing professional learning and development opportunities, wellbeing and staff networks and access to Defined Benefit Pension Schemes (TPS and LGPS) for all staff.
