Person Specification

Experience of working in a school environment and previous office experience is essential.

Ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload and to work with good humour and resilience under pressure

Excellent communication skills with the wider school community and work colleagues, including accurate spelling and grammar skills for work-based documents.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Some familiarity with school database and reporting systems and IT literate

Some understanding and preferably recent safeguarding training with particular reference to primary aged pupils

A secure understanding of the need for confidentiality and knowledge of the importance of communicating sensitive and important information to the right staff colleague

A desire to improve and respond positively to constructive feedback
