We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Administration Assistant join our school to support Senior Leadership Team in providing general clerical, administrative and financial support.



Key responsibilities:


• To provide under the direction of the Headteacher and Senior Administrator routine general clerical, administrative and financial support to the school.

• To work in conjunction with other Administrative Assistants in the provision of effective and efficient administrative support services

• To provide a point of contact for parents and visitors, ensuring information flows are effective

• To maintain student files and input/update as appropriate.

• To provide a service to receive and pass on, in a timely manner, to an appropriate person, all enquiries from visitors and incoming calls using the appropriate communication skills for satisfactory resolution.



Pay range: NJC, SP5 to NJC, SP7 (FTE £23,500 to £24,294 per annum)


 


Qualifications and Skills:


• Educated to a high standard with a minimum GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English (or equivalent)

• NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline

• Experience of working in within an educational setting (desirable)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos.
