The Role
As Administration Assistant, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and parents, ensuring a welcoming and professional service.
- Provide a full range of administrative support, including handling phone calls, managing emails, maintaining records, and organising school events.
- Assist with student services such as attendance records, uniform queries, trip organisation, and general pupil support.
- Support safeguarding and compliance processes, including visitor checks, first aid, and maintenance of accurate records.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Academy by working flexibly and collaboratively as part of our administration team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised, with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Proficient in using ICT systems including spreadsheets, email, and databases
- Able to work calmly under pressure, maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
- Committed to safeguarding and to the welfare of our students.
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a school environment, would be an advantage, though not essential.
